Canadian BC4 boccia Paralympian. Loving life doing what I do best.

America's regional open 2017

Pairs competition:

Won gold today here in Montreal at the first competition of a new Paralympic cycle. While we werent challenged very hard, we worked well as a team and played very well. I'm feeling confident going into the individual completion starting tomorrow.

Individual competition:

After playing extremely well in pairs play, I went into the individual competition feeling confident. Despite being ranked number one at this competition I had the more difficult of both pools but that didn't get in my way. I won all three of my pool games convincingly. My semi final game was a tough one, facing my teammate Iulian. It was a very close game and I mostly had control going into the final end tied. Unfortunately my hand seized up on me Resulting in a disastourous first ball. Iulian was able to score the point and win the game. I came back focused and strong in the final game to win bronze. Overall it was a solid competition and a good way to start the new international season
